Back from Mombassa
We arrived back from our trip to Mombassa on monday the 4th Dec. Our trip was a major highlight of my time here in africa. Getting to minister to street children, was life changing. Seeing children as young as 4 and 5 years old addicted to sniffing glue was an experience that shifted the posture of my heart toward the poor and the needy. We prayed over many and saw them get delivered and receive salvation. One of our Kenya team Members kevin shared his testimony as we passed out food and juice. It was a powerful time of sharing the light of Jesus Christ in a hard and dark place. In the few days we where there we ministered to the YWAM base there as well as some of the longest serving missionaries in east Africa. The lord was with us as we were able to encourage them with prophetic words and words of knowledge that spoke to there heart and moved many of us to tears. It was such and honor to encourage and strengthen the body of christ who has been so faithful in serving to finnish the great commission of world evangelism. For my self the most impacting part of the out reach to Mombassa was getting to know the boys from the Raffa house of prayer. You would never know that these young men were from the streets only a couple years ago. There story and there lifestyles where so provoking. Young men who had nothing, poor and lowly, orphaned at young age, growing up on the street. Have chosen to serve the Lord with Wholeheartedness! In there commitment of Reading the world daily and praying hours every day in the prayer room. These young men are testimonies of the Lords faithfulness and saving grace. That he would take these and set them as pillars of righteousness, burning and shining lamps, intercessors and worshipers in the Lords house. The House of Prayer. Issa, Allen, Enock, John Brucy, and Mussa are five incredible young man that have changed my life. Prayer for them as the Lord uses them to reach many in the nation of Kenya and in the city of Mombassa.
