September

Since being back from the middle east things have not slowed down. The summer has been busy with Weddings, family reunions, and continued training courses with the Acts School. Even this past week and again next week the whole Acts family is back in Kansas city. This next week we are focusing on are mid term out reaches to the middle east, north africa and central Asia. We are going deep in the gospels, looking at strategy in the development of church planting movements as well as practical skills such as conflict resolution in the cross cultural context.

We are excited about what the Lord is doing in Indiana!!! It has been progression over the last couple of months as we have been transitioning as a family. Even know we are working with many local church around the region. The college campuses are awakening with fire and zeal for the beauty of Jesus. We have started meeting every week at "THe HuB" where we have around 50 students between ND and Bethel college. With a primary worship and prayer focus students are encountering the Lord in ways they have never experienced. Both Protestant and catholic alike have been encountering the presence of God.

In most recent news, we have officially taken over the church of "New Life Christian Fellowship." The Lord has been so gracious to us as the church has accepted up with open arms. In the weeks to come we will be building a House of prayer amidst the New Life Church body. Casting vision and administrating roles is the next step in co laboring with the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
I will again be posting weekly updates from this point fwd. Thank you for your support and Prayer as this is and will continue to only be possible with your prayer and support through through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Back in the States

We have been home now for a little over a month now. Since we have been back we have hit the ground running. Upon returning we have hosted are younger sister tiah's college graduation party, and then began planning her up coming wedding that will be on Oct 6th. In the last few weeks we have been spending a lot of time with are extended family. The Lord has opened many doors for ministry among them. It has been such a blessing to share are testimonies and Love with them...

So what dose the future look like??? Well as of this week come sunday, my family and I will be transitioning to take over a church in are region of origin in northern Indiana. We are very excited! as these past few weeks have progressed we have seen great growth among the Local college campuses, including Notre Dame, Bethel College and IUSB. Through this progression of open doors we fell that the lord has casted visions in are hearts to establish a house of prayer in this community. We also feel that vision is a convergence of a church planting movement in the midst of developing a culture of prayer, a praying church.

In the midst of what Lord is doing in are home we still have are eyes set on nations. In this next step we plan to go long term oversees. We are calling it a mid-term assignment. where we will commit to a location for 2 years at least. My sister and I are both planning to leave for the Middle east in the next 6 to 12 months. Thus we are in the current process of building long term support teams so that we can do this full time. Preach the Gospel to the unreached people groups of the earth. That the great commission would be finished in are life time. And that we would see the fulfillment of the prophetic promise given in Malachi 1:11 ( From the rising of the sun to its setting, my name shall be made great among the nations, that incense would arise from every nation...)

Amen please comment or email if would like to hear more testimonies of our last year, from both Kenya and the Middle East. or if you would like to hear more specifics about this transition and support team building season we would love to talk with you.

The continuation ...

After are amazing dinner we kept walking about 100 yards, down the road the man who had bought us dinner came on his scooter pointing across the street. A man walked over and said " Hi how can help you" So we look at each other "YES" this guy speaks english. we walk over across the street and begin talking to Paul (not real name, changed for safety) over tea. We find out very quickly that Paul as well as the whole street is occupied by muslims that have Immigrated from Saudi Arabia. After spending time speaking to Paul we meet his 9 year old nephew. Then we meet his brother in law the boys father. Well the Boys father was the richest man in the city. He likes us so much that he buys a second dinner. Here we go from being starving to being stuffed twice!!!

His brother in law then proceeds to take us to ice cream and then to an amazing historical site. He takes us to St. Paul's Home. Here we stand over a glass plate where illuminated underneath is the apostles home!!! For real then the local who let us in for free because who we where with, takes over to a well. where he proceeds to tell us that this is St. Paul's well. He takes a metal cover of the top and drops the bucket and draws water from the well. and he invites us to drink. We are over whelmed with Joy we begin laughing and crying. and then the most unbelievable thing happens the local guard comes and brings a twisted cracked metal cup.... He said "this was found in the excavation we believe this to be St. Paul's cup" so we are at St. Paul's drink from St. Paul's well out of St. Paul's cup !!!

Following this amazing evening we go back to paul's home are new friend. and share the gospel with him. We stay up with him for 4 ours till 3 in the morning. We present the word to him in his own language and he freaks out. He said I have been looking for this I have went to the local church and could not by it where did you get this. The following morning we spend another 4-5 hours with him explaining hebrews one and john 1 among others. We are still contact with paul and are pursuing a real relationship with him in expectation to see him and his whole family come to the saving knowledge of the Son!!!

Amen please feel free to comment and email ?'s about this last year and if you would like to hear more testimonies of what happened in are commission to the nations. Thank you for all of your support. We love you and could not do this with out you.
