We arrived yesterday at our base that we will be at for the next 10 weeks. The drive was long but good about 7 hours all together. Our first day has been great. we got a tour of the city and got to meet with some of the local leaders and pastors. There is such unity with hearts all ready. The venerability of the people here is provoking. We have been able to speak and share are heart as well as listen and hear the heart of the local. Church we are all very excited for what the lord is going to do here in the next 2 and half months. The youth leadership is so much fun and we already are laughing and joking together as if we have been friends for years. Thank you Jesus for bringing us here.
The housing is wonderful. We have great accommodations with housing and home cooked Kenya meals. There is not real hot water for the shower but it is bearable :) There are 4 little kids that are here with us in the guest house. My favorite is fortress. he is 5 years old and he loves to play my harmonica. We will make a musician of him yet. his parents are locals that are leaders who are aiding us in our evangelistic out reach. Again I am so thankful to be here and be apart of this team. We will be starting our sets tomorrow of 4 hours a day monday through friday and local weekend out reach.
